Executive Diploma in Global Business Operation
Overview
The Executive Diploma in Global Business Operation course offered by University Utara Malaysia (UUM) provides students with a grounding and understanding of basic international business structure, widen their business horizon, enriches their management skills and knowledge and further enhances their leadership ability. This develops a strong link in Customer and Supplier relationship, as well as business network that provides a top class management on the modern business administration and strategic solution.

The course examines the global business environment, and details Malaysia's particular position and role within it. It helps students to develop a broader understanding of the dynamic business environment and of the importance of business network to their future business careers in Malaysia or elsewhere. |

The course introduces students to the key drivers of global business defining the theory and highlight the relative importance of both international trade and investment. |

Students are also introduced to the basics of cross cultural international management and the operation of functional activities within a multinational environment |

Note: ONE credit is equivalent to 14 contact hours. For each module there would be a 18 hours face-to-face contact and 10 hours tutorial/practical.
Total Credit offered = 24 credit (9 course X 2 credit add 6 credit Project Paper)
Total Contact hours = 24 X 14 hours
= 336 hours
Entry Requirements
Minimum SPM with two years of working experience. Students not able to meet the minimum entry requirement will be placed on the three month certificate in Business Administration course.
Duration
It is designed to enable students to complete the diploma during one academic year.
